The Clarkston Community Garden Needs Your Help!
There are many ways you can support your Clarkston Community Garden! Donations are always welcome, especially in these initial years. Perhaps you are eager to adopt a plot to garden. If so, click on the Registration link at the top of the page for more information. Or maybe you would like to help with garden construction/maintenance. If so, attend a garden work party (details announced on this site as work parties are scheduled). We are prepping for garden bed construction for the 2012 planting season.
We Post Scheduled Garden Work Party days here. Come down and help out. We are there every day at 10 am.
Volunteer to help us make it happen. We are generally at the garden at 10 am each morning except Sunday's.
Completed Work:
All built raised beds were loaded with top soil.
Three of the buildings were leveled and wiring was installed, power is on.
All existing herbs were planted.
4 trees were moved and planted.
Six new trees were added including two cherry trees. We have six more trees to plant.
All the plumbing is complete and water was turned on.
Some landscaping has been completed.
3000 Walla Walla Sweet Onions have been planted, destined for the Asotin Co. Food Bank.
